ALMBC (CTC) IS NOW AFFILIATED TO ALSAA !!!!!
After months of living on the edge, of walking a tightrope, of hiding in the shadows, of looking both ways before crossing the road, a weight has been lifted from our shoulders, a cloud has cleared from our minds, a nightmare has been shattered by the light of a new day . . . . . It’s the beginning of a new age!
It’s official . . . and so are we!! A letter is on the way to formally give us our charter of freedom. It was the efforts of the PRO that finally produced this result. Through a frantic series of telephone calls, he unearthed the Good News, and may indeed have hastened this glorious day.
Incredibly, the Pres was COMPLETELY UNAWARE of the ALSAA council decision. While we must acknowledge his work in achieving affiliation, we do grudgingly and with a bad grace.
But at a time like this, division has no place in our celebrations (multiplication, maybe). Ring out your great bells in victory! Kill the fatted calf!! And henceforth go about with a spring in your step, and shout from the rooftops: “I’m a Mindbender, and proud of it!”
